The lightweight Draeger X-am 2500 Monitor is a 4-gas monitor for confined space entry with constant gas level readout on a large, easy-to-read LCD display. This personal gas monitor tests the air it comes in contact with for LEL, O2, CO, and H2S with accurate, low-drift Draeger sensors. It can operate for more than 12 hours with either the alkaline batteries or fully charged NiMH rechargeable batteries.
The Draeger X-am 2500 is a diffusion gas monitor. The housing is designed so the sensors are able to come in contact with the air from the top or the side. This helps if the monitor is ever put into a worker’s pocket or otherwise blocked from surrounding air. The X-am 2500 has an intuitive interface that requires reduced user training and is very easy to use.
The Ex sensor is highly stable and has resistance contamination from silicon and H2S. This sensor life is expected to be more than 5 years and displays a high degree of sensitivity to flammable vapors and gases from methane to nonane. This monitor includes full data logging – configurations, peaks, TWA, and STEL.
In alarm mode, the LCD screen highlights the affected gas for the user and the unit has both visual and audible alarms.
Compatible with the X-dock Testing and Calibration Station as well as all other X-am platform accessories. Bump tests for the X-am 2500 take only 8 – 15 seconds and consume 40% less gas than competitive systems.
The X-am 2500 series replaces Draeger X-am 2000 series gas monitors.
